NEVERCOLD hand warmers are small bags made of porous material containing a mixture of vermiculite, iron and wood powder, activated carbon, and salt | when the bag is opened, the mixture reacts with air to generate heat—the reaction continues for 6–7 hours | heat generation can be interrupted by moving the bag to an oxygen-free place, such as an airtight Minigrip bag, allowing the hand warmer to be used later | used inside gloves as a comfortable and efficient additional heat source | the hand warmer can be placed in the desired position to warm the palms or fingertips | may be used for many other purposes, such as keeping a cell phone, a camera, or other electronic devices warm in freezing conditions | activates when the package is opened and there is sufficient contact with air | reaches operating temperature in about 5 minutes | operating time: 7 hours | average temperature: 57 °C | two heaters per package
